Years of Operation (from 3/9/08): 2 months

Centuries ago, in the northern part of North America, the Zahir Mountains remained isolated and uninhabited. The only creatures there were squirrels, rabbits, birds, and other small critters of the sort. The landscape was described by the name, even though the name was not of a native tongue. "Zahir" means "shining" and "blossoming" in Arabic.

Then, just a hundred years ago, a stallion, Saigon, and his mate, Elehara, entered into the mountain area through the Great Pass. They resided there for a decade, letting their offspring have free reign throughout the lands.

But then one colt grew into an evil being. He grew strong and powerful. Saigon and Elehara decided to gather their herd and leave, rather than face the rogue. One mare stayed behind though, and between the two a new line began. However, they too left the land.

Now the protegy of both lines have returned. They have grown into multiple herds, and are currently at peace. However, the lead darks and lead lights are feeling their ancestry rise up in them again. This time, the lights will not flee. Which side will you take? Will you follow the rogue's line, or the line of Saigon and Elehara -- or will you stay out of the fray? Will you work to maintain peace? Or will you pursue the fight and tip the scales toward war? Just one horse can make a difference.
